Here are some pictures of diesel multiple units (d.m.u.s) and diesel push pull trains from across the country.
Diesel Multiple Units: (d.m.u.s)

 1. An m.g. d.m.u. which runs between Tiruchhirapalli and Tanjore.
2. A makeshift push-pull on the Virar to Dahanu Road section of the WR. The driver's cab is made up of slits cut into the car end, and a WDM/2 diesel engine is coupled mid rake. (Photo by Prakash Tendulkar) Dmu_small.jpg (2446 bytes)

|7-8-9. A disued YRD/1 two car diesel railcar at the Tambaram shed. This unit, once running on the Tiruchhirapalli-Tanjore line, later on the Bangalore-Yelahanka line, is now a departmental wiring train. Now with mg gone at Madras, this unit is probably merely thrown away.
