The 6504/3 SSPN express was a very covenient train for Bangalore based people. One could catch this train in the morning 6:45am , reach SSPN by 10:30am. Attend the afternoon 'darshan' ,take some rest. Then come beck to SSPN & board the same train at 4:45pm & reach Bangalore by 8:30pm. Thus one could finish the trip in one single day.
On the way to SSPN(single line track) , we are made to wait at a way side station. While the weekly Mumbai-Trivandrum Central exp train blasts past us at high speed. Note the vacuum braked coaches in red livery behind the erode  wdm2. Also , note that our WDM2 is just ahead of my coach , but still we cannot see it !! This is because the width of WDM2 is less than the BG coaches.
Traffic at a stand still at a LC gate on NH 7 , somewhere near penukonda. Note the typical landscape. This entire area is semi-arid & very hilly. Photo taken from my coach window.
This is the inside view of my coach. (2nd class chair car) . Note the 'no-smoking' sign. Smoking is an offence in all Indian Railway coaches. Note the luggage rack as well !
This is the town of puttaparathi. Photo taken from top of 'prashanthi hill'. Note , the dome like structure (bottom). This is the huge darshan hall.situated in the campus called 'prashanthi nilayam'.
A panaromic view of the north side of SSPN rly stn.
Note the neatly laid out tracks, platforms & hilly landscape. The siding on the right most corner is for parking VIP coaches or idle locos.
The board on the SLR coach ,proudly displays the name of the train.
