IR 150 years exhibition train
In 2002 , IR was  conducting 150 years celebrations  all over India !  An exhibition train toured across India. It spent 2-4 days in various cities. I visited it during its bangalore halt  ( Bangalore Cantonment ). The coaches of the train  were actually  remodeled old sleeper coaches , with speed downgraded  from 110kmph to 75kmph. The inside of the coaches had been  'cleared'  to make space for an art / photo gallery & model exhibits. The exhibition part was about 8 coaches & dealt with different aspects of railways in India. Another 6 coaches were meant for staff , etc.
Special Note :   A few photos are of the 're-photographed' type. Hence , I am not the original photographer ! Some photos are skewed , as I have tried to avoid flash.

On the inside , a beautiful frame displays all the emblems of the 'original zones' of the Indian railways.
The best design I felt , were that of 'state rly mysore ' the first one. 'Eastern rly' is also quite good , its the last one.
