An Immaculate looking Erode WDM2c 18558R basking in the morning
sun at the head of 272 SBC-Salem Pass. waiting at Baiyappanahalli for the
Udyan Exp. to cross. This unit has been rebuilt, as the suffix R attached to
the loco number indicates. It was originally a WDM2 with 2600HP power
output which has since been uprated to 3100HP during rebuilding process as
well as the loco classification changed to WDM2c from WDM2.

Note the green lifting crane to the left. It is used in lifting the WDM2 body
clear of the bogies. Also note the rather unusual twin MU connectors in the
KJM WDM2 17664 at Baiyappanahalli waiting for the signal with just
a 4 wheeler caboose behind it.
