2008 MYS-MAS Shatabdi hauled by a KJM WDM3a seen here at a level crossing less than a KM west of
Srirangapatna. You can see the train crossing first the Paschimavahini river and immediately afterwards the
west Cauvery River Bridge. Srirangapatna is an island surrounded by the river Cauvery. So, the train will
will again cross the Cauvery River on the east Cauvery Bridge. The road at the level crossing
from where I am shooting from leads to the world famous Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary.
