Most of the videos here where shot at Jayanagar, a suburb of Mysore, about 4km towards
Nanjangud. Two other videos where shot 2Km north of Nanjangud. Other videos are from Mysore
Jn and one near Srirangapatna. Sadly, MG operations on Mysore - Chamarajanagar section is now history! It has been converted to BG.

2008 MYS-MAS Shatabdi hauled by a KJM WDM3a seen here at a level crossing less than a KM west of
Srirangapatna. You can see the train crossing first the Paschimavahini river and immediately afterwards the
west Cauvery River Bridge. Srirangapatna is an island surrounded by the river Cauvery. So, the train will
will again cross the Cauvery River on the east Cauvery Bridge. The road at the level crossing
from where I am shooting from leads to the world famous Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary.

MYS YDM4 6279 hauled 204 MYS-Chamarajanagar Pass. at Jayanager. The train has just departed
Chamarajapuram, the first station after Mysore on this line. MG operations on this line is sadly now history!

MYS YDM4 6141 hauled 206 MYS-Chamarajanagar Pass. seen here about
a KM before Nanjangud before it crosses the Kabhini river across the hill. Note the whining
sound of dynamic brakes that the driver has applied to slowdown because he is entering a
speed restriction.
