Video footage of trains in and around Bangalore mostly along the main line between Channasandra and Yelhanka. Includes footage of the newest diesels on IR, the WDP4

Includes footage of a train climbing the ramp at Chennasandra Bye-Pass. Also, more videos along the main line between Channasandra and Yelhanka..

Chennai
Most of the videos here where shot from the embankments of a road over bridge near Paranur, about 5KM north of Chengalpattu. Also included are videos shot from atop a hill overlooking the picturesque Kolavai Lake, about 2km north of Chengalpattu. Videos here are of passenger trains, mostly hauled by Indian built ALCO WDM2 class diesels running on broad guage. Also look out for meter guage electric YAM1 action. YAM1's running days are numbered due to the ongoing gauge conversion.

Mysore
Most of the videos here where shot at Jayanagar, a suburb of Mysore, about 4km towards Nanjangud. Two other videos where shot 2Km north of Nanjangud. Other videos are from Mysore Jn and one near Srirangapatna.

Arsikere
Videos here where shot in and around Arsikere Jn. Lookout for the increasingly rare Token exchange videos that was shot while on a trip on the Shimoga Town-Mysore Special Express.

Diesel Videos : Page1
First set of diesel(ALCo) videos and sounds of passenger trains, mostly hauled by Indian built ALCo WDM2 class diesel locos running on broad guage. Also look out for the sole exception of a meter guage train hauled by YDM4, which is also an Indian built ALCo.

Second set of diesel(ALCo) hauled passenger train videos and sounds. Also look for the odd man out here, the Diesel Railbus.

Electric Videos
Videos of passenger trains hauled by AC Electric locomotives like WAM4 and WAP4. Also look for a pair of light freight WAG7's.
