From the layout of gantries and the stacking of sleepers, it appears to be a concrete sleeper manufacturing plant. Someone in the know can confirm this.

Cutting edge! A well is casted over this and is assisted to sink in the bed by additional weights (kentledge). A cap is casted after sinking to predetermined depth and pier is constructed over the cap.

Erode Diesel considers itself a bit above the law. I am yet to see an Erode loco marked WDM3A or WDG3A, they persist with the old WDM2C and WDG2 nomenclature. Hope ERS doesn't do the same.

Is the Kalyan WDM2 at the other end or in the middle of the rake. I have always seen this train with the loco in the middle and driving cabs at eah end. Some years back, the locos used to have a livery similar to the rake, but now it seems all have been painted to KYN standard maroon-blue.

Excellent pic Apurva, this section is a delight for fans wanting to check out Neals Ball token operations, semaphore signallings and diesel action at its best, sharp curves, cut sections and tunnels added as a bonus.
