The Tippu/Chamundi exp style boards would have been better. here, it would seem as if WC exp is just a synonym for Mangalore mail.

What you see is not steam but the discharge from the exhauster (located inside the body). The flow is routed through a sort of silencer whose output makes a nice phuta-phuta-phata sound.

ROH must be Regular Overhaul like POH AOH etc ,TNPM is Tondiarpet marshalling yard which i suppose has a frieght wagon overhaul depoy

another example would be the 1009-1010 Sinhagad Express. The spelling on every single coach is :SINGHAD. Ain't this odd ?
