A WDP-4 # 20016 on Feb 2011 brought back from Fursat ganj to Alambagh (90Km)on self power by using this after its bearing seizure.Speed was 15kmph.

@ Apurva: If that was the case, then WAG9 and WAP7 locos too weigh 123 tonnes, their names are not mentioned, resason is something else.

Dr. Jitendra Mulky - Myself & Railfan Kanwardeep Singh along with Shashank Nanda have represented IRFCA at Nationl Steam Congress. IRFCA's contribution is that we both as an IRFCA members have documented all the steam runs this season since december till date. which is to be published very soon. All this dedication and hard work finally lead us (IRFCA) to this position that INDIAN RAILWAYS has to recognize us at this level. This is a proud moment for all of us in IRFCA family.

Great achievement by our group! Congratulations. I concur with S. Srinivas that our next milestone will be to have IRFCA recognized by the Railway Board. Samit's contribution toward detailed railway maps and producing liveries for WAG-9 will be a great step to achieve this.
