Rajdhani Ticket
Thanks a lot for this and the time tables. I used to have such a ticket with me which my cousin gave me, and I lost it before I joined irfca :-(. That was from early 1980's. It had an envelope and a two fold ticket. Do you have the envelope for the ticket

The station is still there on WR, near Dakor on the Anand-Godhra line.

Dacca to Calcutta EBR ticket
East Pakistan was a state of Pakistan up to 1971.
Guessing that JUJ is Jagannathganj Ghat and DSN is Darsana.

Bengal North Western Railway 15 Feb 1924

Dacca to Calcutta EBR ticket
According to Hughes (Indian Locomotives Part 4), from Partition on 15 Aug 1947 all the lines in East Pakistan reverted to their former title of Eastern Bengal Railway.
In may 1961 the name was changed to Pakistan Eastern Railway

Burdwan Katwa Rly 7 Jan 1905
Many thanks, Senthil for uploading this fascinating album of memorabilia.
I'm suspicious of the date you give for the ticket as the Burdwan-Katwa line did not open until 1915.
Have you perhaps misread the date.

Bukhtiar Bihar Light Railway 27 Feb 1905
Very interesting.
I'm a bit suspicious of the date given. The BBLR opened in stages between 1903 and 1911. I don't have the dates to hand at present but think Rajgir Kund would be near the end.

I have some similar tickets, but to different stations, without the date with BBLR DB PATNA printed on the reverse.

Dacca to Calcutta EBR ticket
Excellent! Marvelous collection!! But for the sake of history Senthil, EBR used to stand for Eastern Bengal Railway. Anyway, wonderful collection!
