171: It was NOT possible to book BCT-NDLS by 171 [no bookings allowed to stations short of Ambala Cantt)!
137/138: While I have travelled only once, in 1978 southbound all the way from NZM to Durg, and have no writen records, from memory the only trains to skip AGC were 121/123/125.

It's amazing to note the 171/172 Bombay-JAT superfast's times at New Delhi. 171 - 1:24/1:36, 172 - 2:52/3:04. Just 12 minutes at New Delhi and that too in the middle of the night. No other train has ever belittled Delhi in this manner.

Sagar, when the Panchavati was introduced, it had just two halts - Dadar and Nasik Road. Seems hard to believe, right? Igatpuri and Lasalgaon came later.

Hmmm... amazing to see how the trains get inundated with halts... Chhatisgarh seems to be a prime example... A train that used to skip AGC now is almost like a passenger

Hi... Thanks for this wonderful treat... I had no idea that Panchavati too once skipped KYN... And apparently Byculla had a no. of trains halting there, not just Passengers, but also Expresses... As seen above 29 HWH Express has a halt, also Siddheshwar and Deccan Express used to halt there in UP direction
