Very interesting. Wonder whether these are just crossing stations or are really intended to serve people? I dont think there will be many inhabitants in these desolate areas

I remember seeing this scene. I.R has given up on this loco which has fallen into a deep ravine.This shot is from a viaduct.

Never seen such a steep gradient before!!The pilot climbing up the ghats must use all the horses at his disposal maximum notch if he were to tackle this gradient with a full load behind him.
