Samar, that board has been standing there, as far as I can remember, since 1988. Also, there is a rising gradient from Dilkusha cabin (SPL 213) towards the overhead bridge near Gulistan Colony. I have seen more than a few times, freight trains stalling on this section due to locomotive being unable to pull the rake over the gradient.

Samar had spotted the same coach at the NDLS Siding near the shatabdi washing lines at Pt-1 . This coach actually has conventional bogie attached to(Like we find in ICF) it and is undergoing testing.

Pretty nostalgic. Look at the cut wooden sleepers on concrete floors. This kind of sleeper arrangement has disappeared everywhere

Hmmm. Interesting. I have been pronouncing Safdarjang as Safdarganj all my life!! I now understand why auto drivers in Delhi used to look at me curiously. Thanks for correcting the mistake

Around 80 kmph for sure. I had pressed the button again at the exact time but when I saw in LCD, the loco along with 5-6 coaches had crossed the token catching point.....grrr really disappointing.
