The three lines!

Three back to back trips to cover the three major lines out of Bangalore - The Mysore, Chennai and Hubli lines by railfans Kunal Doddanavar, Santosh Kulkarni, Pawan Koppa and Shishir Jairam. The trip covered the newly doubled portions of the Mysore line (Hanakere and Nidaghatta near Mandya/Maddur), Maralahalli and Tyakal on the Chennai line and Bhairanayakanahalli in the Bangalore-Tumkur section on the Hubli line.

There are few things better to see for a railfan than a single alco, horns blazing, both green flags stretched out pulling a 24-coacher up a mild gradient and blasting past at MPS! KJM WDG-3A #14660 blasts past with the Bagmati Express bound to Darbhanga.

A very interesting album! Most of us wander out far completely ignoring the beauty that lies at our home! Excellent album! I loved it thoroughly!
