Day-1. The Branch lines of West Bihar Meter Gauge

The journey begins. Last time we visited this section we could not go beyond Jhanjharpur but this time we had planned that we will complete these Branch Lines. Jhanjharpur-Laukaha Bazaar and Jhanjharpur-Nirmali. The location of Nimali Branch is here.

The semaphore is pulled down rather forcibly for the first train of the day at Laukaha Bazaar for us. The equipments were in such a bad shape the Khalasis had to literally hang by the wires and put it down (Trayambak Ojha)
