Steam Engine at Chittorgarh_1992

As they become more decrepit locomotives tend to be relegated to more menial duties and here is just such a YG,stripped of it's smoke deflectors, shunting the carriage sidings at Jaipur in 1993 (Mick Pope)

Yesteryear at Yesvantpur.It is 1979 as a YD 2-8-2 shunts the mg yards with a sister loco lurking in the background. Note the open countryside surrounding the railway compared to today's urbanization, also the nice semaphores. (Mick Pope)
