My pride of my possessions. This was built by Mr. Lloyd Pierce for me. This was the loco that his dad used to drive. The 31652 BB&CI 4-6-0 loco model built by Lloyd Pierce for me. This loco is super smooth, with sound and light digitised working model. One has to see this running to believe the effect of this loco. The details inside the cab and the loco is amazing.

A O scale WAP-1 22014 in Ghaziabad livery. The pantos have not been fixed. It is just been seated there for display. The correct position of the pantos to be done later. This is again a display model waiting for motor and digitisation to
convert it into a fully working model.

This is a YDM look alike, waiting to be modified to IR looks and livery. This is a running model with digital sound and horn. Am planning to give this a Guntakal livery. I would have loved to give this a old Venkatadri express (SCR - 1980's) livery but could not find the livery. If any IRFCAians have a photo pls do share.

Work in progress WP. Side profile of the WP. This is a HO scale model. Now I have completely moved to O scale. The only models I have in HO is a WP, a YDM4 and a old BB&CI 4-6-0 loco. Completely remodified by an ex-IRFCAian Mr.I S Anand.

BOXN_emptying_KTPS

This is how a loaded BOXN wagon is emptied of coal in express mode ;-). The wagon is shunted onto the tilting platform, uncoupled, locked in place and tipped over. Some liquid - probably water -is sprayed when the wagon starts to empty, presumably to prevent coal dust from billowing up in the air. Koradi Thermal Power Station.

FIRE IN THE HOLD! The under bogie of this BTPN wagon had caught fire, luckly there was no explosion. We scremed our lungs out to the guard who saw the fire and did absolutely nothing about it!!!!

What a power this colour red has got to stop even the heaviest loaded coal or shatabdi before it...Note the old MG building in the background which is now the crew controller's office. The parked cycles in the background add to the station environment.VM junction.2006-06-02.By Ashwanth.
