FINALLY 25000 VOLTS AC ENTERS MUMBAI!!!
Picture showing the invasion of 25000V AC traction in Mumbai as on November 13, 2011. Certainly not to scale. Just tried to show the progress made by CR & WR in bringing 25KV AC traction into Mumbai, ruled by 1500V DC at present. I have modified the layout in the image to ease out the clutteredness. Also, this image shows the entire DC to AC conversion calendar right from 2004 till date.

Yes true. We Mumbaikars actually welcome the AC traction wholeheartedly... But then, overall if you see, the huge volume of 25000V territory is slowly invading the very small pocket of 1500V DC territories, ...
