A spanking YP 2357 hauls the metre gauge 137 Madras - Trivendrum Express - Picture by P.J. Bawcutt scanned from the cover of Railway Magazine August 1972 issue.
According to the magazine, this is just south of Mattur (sic Mathur) between Villupuram Jn. and Tiruchchirapalli Jn. However, that does not explain the 450 KM milestone which should be the distance from Tirunelveli Jn.
