Bir which used to see superfast trains passing through until few years ago,now resembles a quiet little station bereft of trains. Khandwa-Bir shuttle at Bir station. Bir lies on the erstwhile Bhusawal-Itarsi line which ceased to exist in 2004.The consist is of 5 coaches & the loco is ET-WAG/5.There is no signalling system present between Talvadiya & Bir.The train has permanent caution orders of 15kmph at every unmanned level crossing on the route.The MPS is around 50kmph or so.
