Gallery General Scenes Thull Ghat KHKN1

It was raining here today. So I decided to post some rain action. This is lovely scene of a WCM from the movie Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naan. Any idea of the location? Looks like the Karjat Ghat to me. Note the blue coloured WCG2s and the four wheeler goods stock, especially the 4 wheeler covered wagons between the loco and the tankers. Will be deleted shortly.

New research: This song starts with SRK's brainstorming. His creativity and hence the song is shown to stop when the train stops due to red signal. Just before this frame, the song restarts as the green flag is waved off from the cabin. Look carefully: 124/7 is written on the cabin. Thats about 3 kms north (IGP side) of Kasara!!!

VSG !

The "Vasco de Gama" was Bandra terminus and not Kurla Terminus. Note the WCAM 1 hauled train entering the station in that picture.

Is that a WAM 1 in the right????

I do not know this exact location but Apurva is right that the train scenes in the song were shot near Igatpuri and the then spanking new Kurla Terminus(Tilak Nagar) was shown masquerading as Vasco da Gama.

I think this is the Thull ghat - reason ? The road/rail relationship is better that the Bhore ghats.
