I think that Mr. Pranjal is right about this beautiful engine that it should be used to haul trains like Shatabdi Express only

Adding to my previous comment, Bokaro shatabdi comes headed with a bandamunda(BNDM)WDM2 and switches to electric traction at Bokaro with a WAPx loco from Howrah or Gomoh and rarely Kanpur.

Bokaro Shatabdi now starts from Hatia(near Ranchi). The train will now avail the new WAP7(s) from the neighbouring Gomoh Shed. Gomoh is the next station after Bokaro.
