Comments

If we notice carefully, the SUB is still lower than the UB of the main bay. I think these berths would be more acceptable if brought to the same level as the berths in the main bay.. Still, the sitting comfort is non-existant.

Akshay, i think Karan meant that he booked his tickets in 3A and in Side Lower (SL) and not sleeper!!!

A new chapter in the sardinization of train travel!

Middle is bad, no doubt. But look at the head room of the SU! I am getting clautrophobia, just by looking at it!

Horrible. Where is the side middle berth passenger supposed to sit? BTW, Karan, do not fear. This is a 3A coach & your reservation is of SL!!

Looks like IR has made it now to treat goods and passengers same way.

Also, where will the third person have his food. He/she can still have it with lots of adjustments made.

IR has gone blind in making money with comfort gone for a toss. Certainly if this design is implemented, many people will upgrade to 2A or even airlines.

Ugh, yet another reason to avoid 3AC! I think it's totally unfair to the person who gets alloted the middle berth.

Very bad..already the Side berths are a nuisance for the tall people, now it will become a nuisance for the well built ones too!!

Perhaps the middle berth is meant for RAC pax?? If not, where is the RAC pax supposed to sit in the night?

berth

And where would the middle berth passenger sit during the day ?

The side-lower berth is going to be really suffocating! For asthmatics like me, 3AC would soon be ruled out!
